Polling: John Howard set to lose own seat.

JOHN Howard is set to lose his seat at the November 24 federal election, having failed to make any headway in his northern Sydney seat of Bennelong against star Labor Leader Kevin Rudd's star recruit Maxine McKew.

An exclusive Galaxy Poll found that in the past six months the Prime Minister's wheels have been spinning in his own backyard, with Ms McKew headed for victory with 52 per cent of the two-party preferred vote, compared to 48 per cent for Mr Howard.
